1K Thermal Imaging · Enhanced Night Vision
See heat in four times the detail
A native 1280 × 1024 thermal sensor has four times the pixels of a standard 640 × 512 camera. Switch on UHR Infrared Image for 2560 × 2048 at 30 fps, so people, vehicles and hotspots stay sharp against busy backgrounds.
Wide camera, full-colour night vision
A 1/0.98-inch sensor at f/1.8 with AI low-light enhancement reaches ISO 1,600,000 for colour images in as little as 0.01 lux.
50 MP medium telephoto
3× optical zoom picks out pins and cracks from 10 m away and reads substation gauges clearly.
50 MP telephoto, monochrome night vision
11× optical and 176× hybrid zoom reads number plates from up to 400 m, with an RYYB sensor for better low-light sensitivity.
Laser rangefinder
Measures up to 3 km for pinpointing, line drawing and area calculation, including wildfire perimeters.
NIR auxiliary light
Up to 100 m of near-infrared illumination for close-up detail with the telephoto at night.
Dual-light fusion
Thermal and visible feeds fuse on the remote, with temperature alerts on the visible view and up to 3 feeds on a split screen.
Omnidirectional Sensing · IP55
Built for challenging conditions
IP55 protection against dust and rain, an operating range of -20° to 50° C, and the first DJI compact enterprise drone to combine LiDAR, mmWave radar and omnidirectional vision.
Wire-level obstacle sensing
Rotating LiDAR detects power lines up to 32 m away at night, while mmWave radar sees through fog, rain and dust.
Low-light flight safety
Full-colour fisheye sensors keep visual positioning down to 0.5 lux, and LiDAR takes over in pitch-black conditions.
Weak-GNSS positioning
Under bridges, in canyons and between high-rises, vision and radar data fuse to keep positioning reliable.
Airspace awareness
Built-in ADS-B and Remote ID receivers warn you of nearby crewed and uncrewed aircraft.
Open Edge AI · On-Site Intelligence
Finds what you are looking for
Built-in AI models detect over 20 target types, including vehicles, vessels and fires, analysing thermal and visible feeds side by side. Onboard computing is open to third-party models.
Over 20 target types
Lock onto vehicles, vessels, fires and more in real time on a split thermal and visible view.
AI patrol routes
Outline an area on the map and the drone plans an efficient patrol, detects targets, takes action and writes the report.
FlightHub 2 multimodal search
Connected to DJI FlightHub 2, search for targets with a text or image prompt and get alerts across the operation.
O4 Enterprise Transmission · Relay Modes
Up to 40 km, and further with a relay
O4 Enterprise Enhanced uses a sub-2 GHz band and a high-gain antenna array on the remote for up to 40 km (IC) or 20 km (CE). Two built-in DJI Cellular Dongle 2 modules switch to the best network automatically.
Single relay, dual controller
One relay drone extends the signal for one working aircraft.
Single relay, single controller
One remote flies both drones; the relay adjusts its position to hold the best link.
1 relay, 2 controllers, 3 aircraft
One relay serves two working aircraft for coordinated multi-drone jobs.
Dual relay, dual controller
Two relays chain the signal to reach even further.

Single-axis thrust vs Matrice 4T
A 215 Wh battery covers more ground per take-off. Low-noise "bat-wing" propellers bring flight noise down to 80 dB(A), and if a motor phase fails the arm still delivers half its thrust for a stable hover and a safe landing.
High-Accuracy Surveying · Rapid Modelling
Centimetre accuracy without ground control
Paired with DJI Terra, the Matrice 5T surveys to centimetre-level accuracy without GCPs and builds 2D thermal orthomosaics for solar and grid inspections.
2D thermal mapping
DJI Terra stitches thermal images using visible-light positioning into 2D thermal orthomosaics. Read temperatures and mark anomalies directly for large solar and grid inspections.
Rapid on-site modelling
The remote receives images during the flight and builds point clouds or 2.5D models you can annotate and measure: about 8 minutes for 200 photos.
Smart 3D Capture
Build a rough model on the remote and the drone plans close-surface routes for a detailed model in one flight, with virtual routes and waypoint photos to check coverage.
Versatile Applications · Custom Pilot Plugins
One drone for every mission
Power line inspection
The top LiDAR locks onto power and ground wires and flies along the line automatically to find broken strands and debris.
Boat launch
Take off from a moving vessel and land on a deck marker for maritime patrol and inspection.
Pilot 2 custom plugins
Developers add their own tools to DJI Pilot 2 as floating windows, with Mobile SDK V5, E-Port V3 and Cloud API.
Public safety
Search and rescue, firefighting, police and emergency response.
Energy and utilities
Power lines, substations, solar, wind, oil and gas.
Infrastructure
Bridges, roads, buildings and water assets.
Surveying and GIS
Mapping, 3D models and thermal orthomosaics.
Next-Generation Core Accessories
Matrice 5T accessories
A new remote, a 515 W fast-charging system, and next-generation speaker and spotlight payloads. The carrying case is about the size of a Matrice 4 Series case and carries in one hand. Matrice 5T accessories are not compatible with the Matrice 4 Series.
