Some TVs and portable LCD monitors don't have an HDMI port. To connect the HERO3/3+/4 directly to them, you'll need a composite cable.
This USB to RCA composite cable will give you standard definition video and audio preview and playback of your videos or photos, into any screen that doesn't have HDMI input.
