Insta360 X6 features two Sony custom square 1/1.1" large sensors, 33% larger than those in the X5, delivering a major upgrade in image quality both day and night.

How is X6's image quality? Is it noticeably better than X5?

X6's sensor area is 33% larger than the previous-generation X5. Combined with a new AI triple-chip intelligent noise reduction system, X6 delivers noticeably better image quality than the X5 in both daytime and nighttime shooting, with stronger overall detail and clarity.

Is X6 compatible with X5 accessories?

X6 retains the same 1/4" mounting thread and magnetic quick-release interface as the X5, so it is compatible with most accessories that use a 1/4" mount or magnetic quick-release connection. However, due to changes in camera size, battery size, and optical performance, most X5-specific accessories are not compatible with X6, such as the Carry Case, Dive Case, Utility Frame, and Fast Charge Case.

What type of power adapter does X6 support?

A 9V/3A power adapter with PD support is recommended. It also supports 5V/3A power adapters.

What memory card capacity is recommended for X6?

X6 has 47GB of built-in storage, so you can shoot without a memory card. If you frequently record high-spec footage such as 8K or need long continuous recording, a 256GB memory card or larger is recommended.
