What's new with ONE RS?

A lot! ONE RS introduces a new high-performance 4K lens, along with a new Core, Battery Base and Mounting Bracket! Here are the biggest upgrades:

4K Boost Lens: This is an upgrade to the previous 4K Wide Angle Lens. Thanks to a larger 1/2" 48MP sensor, it shoots more detailed 4K 60fps video and 48MP photos. Two new innovative modes are also available: 6K Widescreen mode for ultra-high-res 2.35:1 videos and Active HDR mode for better highlights and shadows in action videos.

ONE RS Core: The all-new ONE RS Core boasts a new processor for improved in-camera FlowState stabilization and up to 50% faster WiFi transfers, as well as an additional mic for improved audio. Instant Zoom and the Quick menu are also available with the RS Core.

ONE RS Battery and Mounting Bracket: The ONE RS battery capacity is 21% bigger than the ONE R battery. The Mounting Bracket has also been redesigned to match the RS battery, and is now easier to use with a quick release button, a heat dissipating design and a built-in wind cover.

The ONE R 360 Lens and 1-Inch Wide Angle Lens are the same lenses as before.

 

Can I use the 4K Boost Lens with my existing ONE R Core?

Support for the 4K Boost Lens with the ONE R Core will come in a post-launch firmware update. With the upcoming update, ONE R users can enjoy many benefits of the new lens, including a larger 1/2" image sensor, 48MP photos and Active HDR.

 

Can I use the ONE RS Core with my existing lenses and mods?

Yes, you can use your ONE R lenses with the ONE RS Core. You can enjoy all the benefits of the new Core, including a new processor, improved in-camera FlowState image stabilization, 50% faster WiFi transfers, improved audio, Instant Zoom and the Quick menu. When used with a wide angle lens, you can also shoot 4K 60fps under FlowState mode. For optimal performance, we recommend to use the ONE RS Core together with ONE RS battery and ONE RS Mounting Bracket.

 

Can I use the ONE RS Battery Base with my existing ONE R Core?

Yes, you can use your ONE R Core and lenses with the ONE RS Battery Base. However, the ONE RS Battery Base is not compatible with the ONE R Mounting Bracket due to its larger size and capacity. Please purchase the ONE RS Mounting Bracket to use with the battery, which also has a new quick release button, a heat dissipating design and a built-in windproof mic cover.
