The Thermo Grip Cover reduces X5's surface temperature during extended 8K recording, ensuring a more comfortable shooting experience.

*Insta360 X5 records in 8K30fps, which increases power consumption and may cause the camera to become warm. This is normal.

 

Advanced graphene cooling technology.

Made of graphene-based phase-change materials (PCMs) that reduce the camera's surface temperature by up to 44.6ºF (7ºC) during 8K recording.

*Tested in a controlled laboratory environment against recording without the Thermo Grip Cover.

Notes

1. Ensure the camera is clean and dry before installing the Thermo Grip Cover.
2. Install and remove the Thermo Grip Cover carefully to avoid scratching or damaging the camera lenses.
3. Do not install or remove the Thermo Grip Cover while recording as this may affect image stitching.
4. The Thermo Grip Cover is not compatible with the following Insta360 X5 accessories: Invisible Dive Case, Utility Frame, Water Sports Rope Mount, and Mic Windshield.
